1. Lecture- 7 Infancy and Pre-school Nursing  The process of building a child’s personality begins at a very early age.  During preschool years a child learns gradually to become independent.  Parents have to take care of their health, safety and plan for their education from this very early age.

2.  Children learn through play.  Parents need to be interactive with the children and receptive to learn from the children as well.  Parents should have a neat plan for raising their children physically, mentally and spiritually.

3.  Beware of TV as a Baby-sitting Tool: parents should plan between themselves to make sacrifice invest required amount of time with their children  Parents should plan for disseminating knowledge and understanding commensurate with age and ability. Conscientious parents have targets and focus in educating their children from the very beginning.

4.  Parental dealings have to be meaningfully positive, even in case of teaching discipline.  The manners and behavior of parents are examples for the children.  Islamic vocabulary should be constantly used before the children so that they get the habit of saying them.  Children in a house where parents are practicing Muslims copy many of the rituals that have lasting influence in their life.

5.  A child’s environment is as important as their genes.  Parents are responsible for providing the proper environment.  However, at the end of the day, parents can only try and pray for their loved ones. The destiny of every person is predetermined by Allah (SWT).
