Decimals Fractions Step one: Determine the place value Step two: place the decimal as the numerator, the place value as the denominator FOR EXAMPLE: 0.9 reads…9 tenths because 9 is in the tenths place The fraction would then be 9/10 SIMPLIFY YOUR FRACTION!

Group Work (15 minutes) Designate partner 1 and partner 2. Partner 1 come grab 1 white board and 1 marker. Partner 1 will start. You will teach your partner, step by step, how to the do problem 1. Partner 2 will begin with problem 2. Trade off until you are done with the problems. You must show work and do IDK! If you are stuck: you must ask your partner before you can raise your hand and ask me.
