1. Mimio Making Madness How can I create a lesson using Mimio? In this session, you will see and use all the unique tools to create an exciting lesson that your students will enjoy.

2. Before creating a lesson, lets look at the great tools available on Mimio. This is the screen you see when you first open Mimio. We are going to look at the buttons at the top of the page.

4. You can duplicate a page or a page background You can pull a file from your saved documents You can screen clip anything to add to your mimio You can change the background color You can add page transitions like a PowerPoint

5. Click the paint brush to bring up this tool bar. This will help you to create your mimio lesson. Selection Pen Highlighter Eraser Color Picker Line Style Change line width Gallery Browser Mouse Right Click

7. Gallery Browser Type and search what you are looking for.

8. 1. Open Mimio Notebook (from Start- Programs or Shortcuts) 2. Play around with the pen, highlighter, and eraser. 3. Insert a shape, fill it with a color, rotate, resize, and move 4. Insert a text box and type a sentence. Change the font style, size, and color.

9. 5. Insert a new page. 6. Import an existing document from your computer (Insert > File) 7. Mark up the document with a pen & highlighter 8. Insert a picture or video (Insert > File)

10. 8. Insert a new page and add a screen clipping a. go to www.google.com b. click on images and search for an image c. click on the image to see full size d. click on Screen Clipping icon e. click & drag to clip image f. image appears in Mimio Notebook
