2 What you Should do NOW Go to Blackboard Find the (revised) Report on the Assignment Board Download the report Add the information you already have: – A. Context section – B. Connecting with the student (relationship plan)

Context (attach Context checklist) Describe the important and most relevant school, classroom and community assets likely available to students in the school (make a bulleted list—aim for no more than 6 assets) Describe the important school, classroom, and community challenges likely faced by student in the school (make a bulleted list—aim for no more than 6 assets (typo) challenges)

4 B. Connecting with the student General description of student(s)—age, gender, race, ethnicity, first language status and special need status of the students you worked with Describe what you did to connect with the student (your relationship plan)—just one or two sentences. Describe what you learned about the student: – What learning challenges does the student (or students) face? – What interests, assets and strengths does the student (or students) have that you can build on? Explain how you will use your student’s strengths and challenges when you teach him or her (just one or two sentences, but be specific).
