Have a greater understanding of the Year 5 and 6 curriculum. Have knowledge of forthcoming topics. Gather some ideas and techniques to support children at home.

18 Sentence Development Year 3: A bike works when you push the pedals. Year 4: A bike’s wheels move when the rider presses down on the pedals. Year 5: When the bike’s pedals are pressed, the wheels turn so the bike moves. Year 6: Pressure on a bike’s pedals causes the chain to move, which in turn causes the wheels to rotate.
