1 Defining the 2016 CAS-2 cycle Timeline Slides used by the CAsC Committee on its July 23 rd T-con to establish the timeline for the main activities related 2016 Conformity Assessment. They reflect the timeline that was approved.

2 2016 CAS-2 cycle Timeline: The key milestones 1) Draft three year roadmap established; Tentative 2016 Cycle Profile selection. 2) Effort estimation/gaps/proposed tools selection delivered 3) CAsC Business Decision depending on time, funding, scope,... Finalize profile selection with a provisional CAS-2 Sections 1 & 2 approved. 4) Tool development/Integration with TM completed 5) CAS-2 2016 Cycle complete draft issued. 6) 2016 Cycle CA Test Package Validation completed 7) CAS-2 2016 Cycle document approved with Section 3 details of test plans and tools 8) 2016 Cycle CA Test Package released Legend: Red: external resources, Black: CAsC Committee resources  For 2016 Cycle, Target completion (milestone 8): March 2016  For 2017 Cycle should move tentative target to Dec 2016

3 2016 CAS-2 cycle Timeline: 1) End of August:Draft three year roadmap established; Tentative 2016 Cycle Profile selection. 2) Mid-September:Effort estimation provided by tool technical teams from IHE Services & IHE USA. IHE Japan, and other Testing Deployment Committees (committed to deploy a testing lab I 2016). 3) End of September:CAsC Business Decision depending on time, funding, scope….). Finalize profile selection with a provisional CAS-2 Sections 1 & 2 (only) approved. 4) End of December: Tool development/Integration with TM (3 months) 5) Mid-December:2016 Cycle CAS-2 complete draft issued. 6) End of February 2016: 2016 Cycle CAS-2 approved by CAsC Committee 7) End of February: 2016 Cycle CA Test Package Validation Completed (January/February) 8) March 2016 2016 Cycle CA Test Package released to all Authorized Test Laboratories
