Phase Change Phase Change is the change of an object from one state of matter into another. Phase Change occurs when there is a gain or loss of energy. Sometimes you need a lot of energy for a phase change.

Temperature Temperature is a measure of the speed of moving particles.
High Temperature = Fast Movement = High Energy Low Temperature = Slow Movement = Low Energy
