John 8:44 “You are of your father the Devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.”

Proverbs 12:19 Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue, only a moment.

14:5 An honest witness does not deceive, but a dishonest witness utters lies.

Flattery
Psalm 12:2 They lie to one another; they speak with flattering lips and deceptive hearts. (Say what they want to hear for manipulation)
Deception
I John 3:7 Little children, let no one deceive you! The one who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous. (False information, twisting the truth for harm)
Slander
Lev. 19:16 You must not go about spreading slander among your people; you must not jeopardize your neighbor’s life; I am the LORD. (Cutting down; trash talk)
