8 How Pre-AP differs from level English:  taught at a much faster pace  separate curriculum  students are routinely assessed for critical thinking skills  focuses on tools and strategies to enable students to engage in “active, high-level learning,” and “develop skills, habits of mind, and concepts they need to succeed in college.”
