5 SVH Recognition Process ESTIMATED Timeline-After the initial request letter is received from the State: –6 – 9 Months: The Entire Process –1 – 2 Weeks: Once all materials are received –1 – 2 Months: Internal Concurrence Process

6 SVH Process SVH Recognition Process Major Obstacles –Completion of the Survey Securing the proper number of residents prior to survey Indicating ALL standards are met –Collecting all the necessary forms

7 Recognition Survey To be recognized the SVH must meet ALL standards set by VA Per Diem is granted on the date all standards are met
