3. We are learning about the French and Indian war. The governor of the Indians wrote a letter that said to leave the Ohio River valley. George Washington took the letter to the French and they said they would not leave without a fight.

4. We learned about the planets. There are 8 planets in our solar system. Our galaxy is the Milky Way galaxy. Earth is the only planet with life in the solar system. The biggest planet is Jupiter.

5. Mrs. Holden taught us about the Microscope. When you are using a microscope the body has to face you and the mirror has to be toward light. The two people who invented the microscope are Robert Hooke and Anton Leeuwenhoek.

6. I learned about the hand lens. The hand lens is a magnifier. The hand lens has a curved lens. On the hand lens there is a big lens and a small lens.

7. Our Galaxy is the Milky Way. It is really big to us but compared to the other Galaxies it is small. It is one of the smallest galaxies.

8. I learned about the Revolutionary War. In the war America was fighting for freedom from British. The British were trying to tax Americans. The war was won by America and they got their freedom.
