1 Sportsmanship Recognition Program Origins of the Program: Only another A.D. can understand all that goes into the job. How do we communicate what we do to our administration and show the importance of our programs? How do we recognize A.D.s that take the time to do the job correctly?

2 Sportsmanship Recognition Program Goals of the Program 1.Recognize Schools that work hard at running positive programs. 2.Support area A.D.s and Share Information. 3.Encourage growth, communication, and collaboration for new Athletic Directors.

3 Sportsmanship Recognition Program 15 elements were identified that we believed would support our goals. Each applicant had to have their Principal sign off on completed elements. Those 15 elements are: A = Mini Conference B = General Membership Meetings C = Women in Sports Conference D = Certification of Coaches E = Athlete/Parent Code of Conduct F = Athlete/Parent Handbook G = Sportsmanship Announcements H = Honoring Good Sportsmanship I = Event Supervision Plan J = Athletic Ejection Plan K = In House Poor Sportsmanship Plan L = Advisor for Cheering Section M = Plan for Welcoming Guests N = Plans to Improve Sportsmanship O = C.S.A.D.A. Membership (14-15) P = TBD
