Dakota State University

School Health and Safety Program Hand Sanitizer Questions Hand sanitizers do not work well on soiled or oily hands and are not a substitute for hand washing Effective hand sanitizers contain at least 60% alcohol and are flammable “Keep Out of Reach of Children” is stated on the label Store hand sanitizers properly and make sure children are properly supervised
