What is 3G? 3G stands for third generation. –First generation was NMT and second generation was GSM. Revolution in wireless technology. Is able to transfer voice and data. Maximun transfer capasity is around 2Mbit/s in optimal conditions.

Video calls can be very useful for them cause they can also see that person who they are talking to. For example if they are talking to their grandchildren it may have very positive effect to their mood. It also saves expences when relatives don’t always have to travel

Useful services for elderly people Health services –Remote diagnose. –Health monitoring. Very useful for older people who have some sort of incurable disease for example diabetes or. They can inform their feelings and test results to the doctor and have feedback and advices immediately.

Conclusion There’s lots of features that will improve older people quality of life. Products must be easy to use. We should still remember that this technology is new and it’s full potential haven’t yet been used. So there will be much more services in the future.
