We have been looking at lots of examples of AANVA descriptive writing over the course of the year.
Let’s see what we can remember by working with our partners to write down as many words as we can for each of the word classes!

At your tables you have four laminated sheets and a jar of words. The colours on the words match the colours on the cards. Can you create an AANVA sentence with the words? Can you then move the Adverb to the beginning? Could you then use a Connective and add more information at the end? Write your favourite sentences onto the dinosaur paper. We will share our ideas later…
