Problems What if an emp. Changed his tel. no.? –The three files has to be updated independently. problem of data redundancy Causing –Waste of storage space –Increase of workload –Data may be inconsistent and accurate

DBMS Solution Database system –A set of logically related files organized in a way that data access is improved and data redundancy is minimized.
