A timeline gives a date and a short description of an event.
Dates can either be from a single year or fir a period of time.

5. Creating a timeline of Explorers
On the next slide is a list of explorers and their important dates.
Using the conventions of creating timelines that we have just learnt, create a timeline showing important dates for the Age of Discovery.
