Criticism in Ceramics Eleanor Heimbaugh

Summary This was an advertised K-12 outreach program. A publicized interactive presentation was given at Shawnee Mission North High School to over 25 participating students. Students were presented various topics of discussion relating to criticism in the art world and intellectual conversation developed. An interactive critique utilizing the “Hot Pink Critique Sheet” then took place for the remainder of the time. The purpose was to expose young minds to the opportunities and possibilities that key elements of criticism present.
