4. EQUELLA Process While the business process was the hardest part to develop, it was obvious that from a system perspective the whole process – internal validation and external validation needed to be built.

6. Collection Build Process Step 1: held a Workshop to establish where EQUELLA could meet business process and wrote business rules Step 2: develop collection for internal validation Step 3: UAT. This was an iterative process: Piloted in test environment with 3 teachers (end to end process) Step teachers and their industry partners through the contribution and review process Work with Auditors to ensure the process meets requirements Refine the collection as a result of feedback Test the changes

7. Collection Build Process Step 4: Add external validation workflows to the existing collection and EQUELLA workflow, and undertake UAT. This was also an iterative process: Piloted in test environment with 3 teachers (end to end process) Take teachers and their industry partners through the contribution and review process Work with Auditors to ensure the process meets requirements Refine the collection as a result of feedback The Collection went live July 2013 There are currently 110 resources in the collection

8. Collection Build Process CIT staff continue to monitor activity and contributions The collection and workflow will be further refined as a result of feedback and usage monitoring Current activity - Writing activity reports for Institute managers
