Chaperones will have groups of 4-8 students to watch. Chaperones may exchange students, but only for park portion of the trip. Nobody may change buses. Students leaving with parents from Busch Gardens must “check out” first!

Everyone should help with music Cases

Students will arrive wearing their concert uniforms They will need to bring a bag with a change of clothes to wear in the park

Chaperones must where T-shirts for identification by students. For the park…

Cell phones are encouraged Please give the lead chaperone your number For both Students and Parents

Eight Parts of the Trip: 1) Meet at Hayfield 8) Buses arrive at Hayfield 7) Buses leave for Hayfield 4) Busch Gardens 3) Performance 2) Buses leave 6) Return to Rides 5 ) Awards Assembly

1) Meet at Hayfield 5:30 a.m. In the front of the building

2) Park in the visitors parking

2. Check bus and group assignments 3. Band Student Leaders will help parents find bus information, etc. 1. Meet in the lobby, not in the band room!

Take roll on bus before leaving.

2) Bus ride to Williamsburg Our buses are equipped with: Air Conditioning Reclining Seats Video Players Restrooms

Please do not bring videos They will be supplied for us!! Or video players

CD players, I Pods, electronic games are allowed at your own risk!! All audio devices must have headphones

Chaperones take roll before leaving to Busch Gardens 1-Assemble off buses 2-Warm-up room 3-Performance 4-Put instruments on bus 5-Eat lunch

Assembling off Buses Students: 3) remain calm and quiet 2) find their band 1) remove instruments from cases/get music 9:15 a.m. - contact chaperones for emergencies/questions

Make sure that commonly used instruments are not left on bus

Remain Calm and Quiet -Listen for directions -Limit talking

If time permits, we may watch other bands perform! Listen quietly and respectfully!! Please turn off cell phones!

Bands are called one at a time to the warm-up room Warwick H.S.

Return to Buses Change into park clothes! Boys-Bus 1 Girls-Buses 2 and 3

Return to Buses Load Instruments after performance Eat Bag Lunch

Chaperones receive tickets from lead chaperone Do NOT give tickets to students at this time!!

Chaperones take roll before leaving to Busch Gardens

Drive To Busch Gardens 11:45a.m.

Give tickets to students immediately before entering the park

Walk by the First Aid Station Use it as a meeting place

Awards Assembly 4:20pm Royal Palace Theater

Go to Awards Assembly Hayfield Students sit together Remember “Esprit de Corps” Roll is taken at this time

Be back on the bus by 8:30pm Nobody May Change Buses!

Ride Back To Hayfield

Arrive At Hayfield Remove items from bus Assist bringing equipment into the building

Arrive At Hayfield Pick up trash and lost articles

Arrive At Hayfield One chaperone on each bus signs the driver’s release

One chaperone on each bus brings the videos to Mr. Helm!

Arrive At Hayfield Check the curbside for extra instruments, boxes, etc.

Rest until Monday Morning
