2. Nouns Noun—A person, place, or thing. Singular noun—Names one person, place, or thing. Plural noun—Names more than one person, place, or thing. To make a noun plural:  Add “-s” or “-es” (Dog  Dogs, Brush  Brushes)  If it ends in “y” after a consonant change it to an “i” and add “- es” (Puppy  Puppies)  If it ends in “y” after a vowel just add “s” (journey  journeys)

3. More Plural Nouns “O” after a vowel  add “-s”  Ex: Radio  Radios “O” after a consonant  add “-es”  Echo  Echoes For some nouns that end in “f” or “fe”, change the “f” or “fe” to a “v” and add “-es”  Wolf  Wolves  Some do not (Giraffe  Giraffes
