Singular and Plural Nouns

Nouns Noun—A person, place, or thing. Singular noun—Names one person, place, or thing. Plural noun—Names more than one person, place, or thing. To make a noun plural: Add “-s” or “-es” (Dog Dogs, Brush Brushes) If it ends in “y” after a consonant change it to an “i” and add “- es” (Puppy Puppies) If it ends in “y” after a vowel just add “s” (journey journeys)
