5 Habitat Prairie dogs live in grasslands and dig there homes underground.

6 Lifespan The lifespan of a prairie dog is about 1 to 5 years old.

7 Behavior The prairie dogs behavior to most things is to usually dive into there little holes and hide until the predator geos away.

8 Group Size The group size of a prairie dogs is tens of thousands of black-tailed prairie dogs in one colony.

10 Fun Fact One fun fact about prairie dogs is if a prairie dog sees a threat, such as a coyote, it will give a special bark before diving into its burrow. The bark warns other prairie dogs of the danger.
