I figured that since I always see hummingbirds flying around white flowers that they must only be attracted to white flowering plants. I placed three different colored rose plants (white, red and yellow) in my garage to see how much time the hummingbird spent pollinating the other flowers. I released it three different times on three different days for 1 hour each day at the same time in the day. I found the hummingbird spent 33.3% of its time pollinating the white roses, and 66.7% of its time pollinating the red and yellow roses.
