AIMS: -To identify and characterise genetic and neurobiological systems and their environmental moderators underlying reinforcement-related behaviours. -To map the trajectories leading to reinforcement-related psychopathology, including addiction, anxiety and affective disorders. -To identify predictive biomarkers, including for addictions.

Random Effects Analysis (RFX) in SPM8 Anticipation Large vs No Win Baseline assessment: N=2073 Follow-up 1: age 16 years (ongoing) Follow-up 2: age 18/19 years (from 2012) Since 2010: 13 manuscripts published / in review, including Nature Genetics (ir), Nature Neurosciences (ir), PNAS (ir), Mol. Psychiatry, American Journal Psychiatry etc. Results: Identification of several novel mechanisms for risk for addictions and social dysfunctions.
