Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Statistics As of 01.01.2011, there are 120 methodological materials on organization of statistical surveys and the construction of indicators in the Statistics Agency. In 2010 17 methodological recommendations were revised and developed in part of improving the statistical branches methodology. 3 new statistical methodologies were introduced on: - survey of the Agency’s site visitors; -prices for products and services of fishing and aquaculture; -Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey. Introduction of 9 new and improvement of 5 existing methodologies by industry statistics: national accounting, price, industry, living standards, demographic and social statistics is planned for 2011 developments Methodologies and methodological developments

Conducted in order to reduce the period of implementation of standards and determine the most effective ways of adapting international recommendations to implement and improve the methodology for national-level indicators. The results are often presented as a specific methodological developments implemented in statistical practice. Share of users, who receive information from the Agency’s site- 65%, or plus14 percent points relative to the data for the previous year. Proportion of users fully satisfied with the presentation of information - 49,2%, or plus 4.8 points. 42% of respondents would like to receive more analytical information, according to the survey.
