3 What is it ? It is a meathod of separation of 2 components of a mixture on the basis of difference in specific weights or specific gravity.

4 Principle The material is lifted by vaccum over an inclined vibrating screen covered deck which results in the material,being suspended in the air,the heavier impurities are left behind on the screen and are discharged from the stone outlet. It works best when there is a large difference in SG in the minerals to be seperated.
