3 Overview Dual Enrollment  Dual Enrollment allows high school students to take college classes without leaving high school. Unlike the PSEO Program, through which students take college- level degree-oriented classes on one of our campuses or at one of our regional learning centers, students take Dual Enrollment classes in their regular school with high school teachers who are credentialed to teach the course. 12 Africentric & The Charles School Early Colleges  These Early College students attend cross-listed courses at the main campus  These courses are Information Technology and Multi- Competency Health courses  These courses are taught by Columbus State faculty  Many Early College Academies have outside funding to assist with enrollment. 13  The American Electric Power (AEP) Foundation is funding a new pilot initiative with the Columbus State Community College Foundation to launch a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) dual enrollment program at Columbus City high schools beginning with West High School.  Credits Count Credits Count American Electric Power & West High School Partnership Unique characteristics
