What Can We Do?  Government resources for safety and enforcement not keeping pace with the increases in volumes and vehicles –Human and Infrastructure capacity  Need to work smarter –Use of data and analysis –Target activities where they have the most impact –Technology can act as a congestion management and risk mitigation tool and a force multiplier for enforcement –Coalition building and strategy execution at federal, regional, state and local levels –Work with private sector to incentivize positive behavior 8
