How long do snow leopards live?
Snow leopards can live for up to 21 years. Snow leopards have their babies in the spring, and spend their 1st winter with them, before they leave and find their own homes.

Snow leopards live in the Himalayas, in the Indian mountains, where it is very cold and in southern, eastern and central Asia. Asia Himalayas

How big are snow leopards?
Snow leopards are 100 – 130cm tall when on 2 paws. Their tail is 80 – 100cm long. Their shoulder height is 60cm and a male’s weight is 45 – 55kg and a female’s weight is 35 – 40kg. How big are snow leopards?

How has the snow leopard adapted to living in its habitat?
The snow leopard has adapted thick fur to protect itself from the cold. The snow leopard has adapted to having short limbs for climbing. The snow leopard has adapted large paws to act as shoes.

Snow leopards eat yak, asses, wild sheep, goat, marmats, pikas, hares and birds.
