Land Japan consists of four main islands that cover 145,882 square miles. It is roughly smaller than Montana.

Terrain There are a lot of mountains.

Climate Mostly tropical but the north is harshly cold

Population Japan has a population of about 127 million and is ninety- nine percent ethnic Japanese.

Way of life Japanese have strong belief in seniority being higher in the pecking order of the family, so “grandpa” would be the head of the household.

Food Their diet consists mainly of rice,vegetables,seafood,and tea.

Language/ Religion They speak Japanese in Japan, what a surprise! Religion doesn’t really play a large role in Japan save for certain traditions

Economy Is one of the largest in the world.

Natural resources/Agriculture Japan has very few natural resources. Its industries include machinery, metals, engineering, electronics, textiles,and chemicals.

Industry/ Exports Japan’s main industries include electronics and metals. Most of its exports are electronics though.

History In ancient Japan, the feudal lords oppressed the people and the Samurai were their arms, then the ninjas killed them all until present times.
