5. 5 A few targeted highlights A real-time mesoscale analysis: A state-of-the-science very high resolution gridded analysis (~1km grid spacing at 15 min updates) of all environmental variables. Advances in numerical guidance: Advances ranging from storm-scale weather prediction models to far-reaching environmental earth system models. Fully calibrated forecast confidence information: Fully accessible and dynamic estimates of forecast confidence for multiple elements for short-to-medium forecast ranges Making the extraordinary ordinary
