4 Why Thunder Ridge?

5 Thunder ridge- is a place where locals of all ages enjoy winters. During the week its mostly teens and children. Saturdays and Sundays we see a lot of families. Snowboarding-Its fun for children teenagers and young adults. Its not a sport or a hobby it is a lifestyle. The majority of teens who get into snowboarding their lives revolve around it. I know my whole life does. I go to snowboarding camp in the summer. I spend almost every day up at Thunder Ridge our local mountain. Snowboarding is love

6 Locals can learn how to ski at Thunder Ridge. From the age of two to ninety two. Its an easy fun and relaxing sport. You can get into competitions with skiing. Another option is to just enjoy it on your own with your family and or friends.

7 From N.Y.C. and Points South Take 684 North past exit 10 to Route 22 North Pawling. (DO NOT TAKE ANY EXITS OFF ROUTE 684. AFTER EXIT 10, 684 WILL TURN INTO ROUTE 22 NORTH) Thunder Ridge is 8.5 miles on right or take Saw Mill River Parkway North to 684 North to Route 22 North From Danbury, CT Take I-84, Exit 20 to Route 22 North Thunder Ridge is 8.5 miles on right From Newburgh, NY Take I-84 East, to exit 18, left onto Rte. 311.
