Photo Analysis (We do) Lets talk about the photo… 1. What is the subject of this photograph? 2. What colors do you see? 3. What shapes do you see? 4. What is the photographer's perspective? How close is the photographer to the subject? Are you looking down at the subject? Up? 5. Is the subject clear or blurry? 6. Besides the subject of the photo, what other objects appear in the picture? Are these objects natural or man-made? How is the subject interacting with these objects? 7. Is the photograph dark or light, or both? Is it naturally lit, or did the photographer use artificial light? 8. What do you think the photographer is saying about the subject in this picture? 9. What do you see in the picture that supports your opinion? 10. How does the photograph make you feel? 11. Do you like or dislike it? Why?
7
Photo Analysis (You do) Answer the same analysis questions for your photo. You may chose any of the 4 photos.
8
Present Analysis Find a partner to share your analysis. The 1 st partner will share while the other partner listens. When the timer rings, the 2 nd partner will share. We will discuss whole group, so be prepared to share with the class.
