Where are Whale Sharks found? Whale Sharks are found in shallow and warm water. They are also found in open ocean space in tropical waters.

What does the Whale Shark look like? Whale Sharks have spots on the top of its body, it has a very big mouth, it’s about 60 feet long and it replaces a new tooth when its other one comes out.

How did the Whale Shark get its name? The Whale Shark got its name because whales are the biggest mammals.

What does the Whale Shark eat? Whale Sharks eat plankton, krill, squid or even a Basking shark or a Megamouth shark.

Where and how does it find its prey? The Whale Shark finds its food by swimming with its mouth open to catch its prey. It eats up to one million microscopic fish a day. It is funny that the whale shark is one of the biggest fish in the oceans and eats the smallest fish that are found in the oceans.
