1 Compensation Review 1.The only key strategy that is important in developing a compensation system is motivation. 2.The relative pay for different jobs in an organization is known as pay level. 3.The labor market that determines pay is related to the goods and service market. 4.Job evaluation determines the employee’s performance and whether or not they get a pay raise.

The Davis–Bacon Act of 1931 established the requirement for paying prevailing wages on public works projects such as WPA and CCC. 7. Prevailing wages are the average wage paid for a job in a certain geographic location. 8. The minimum wage is determined by the Department of Labor every two years.
