2. 2 Type of Exam The exam is structured as follows:  True-False Questions  Multiple Choice Questions  Matching – these may be descriptions of geologic features or terms associated with geology, or scientists who made important geologic discoveries  Fill-Ins

3. 3 What Is Covered Material from lecture 14-23, including PowerPoint lectures with audio files not presented in class Review of material from the Midterm (no more than 15% of the exam – and extra credit may come from the midterm) Assigned reading in the text (see on-line activity sheet, and the final examination wordlist)

5. 5 Arrive on Time! 6. Examination Value As shown on the syllabus, the examination is worth 25% of your total grade The exam will be worth 100 points 6

8. Exam Paper Write your answers on the exam Please be sure all answers are legible 8

9. 9 During Test No talking to other students No notes of any kind No cell phones, lap top computers, or any other electronic devices should be turned on, and they should be put away during the exam Questions should be directed to a Graduate Teaching Assistant or the Instructor

12. 12 Grades The exam key will be posted online after their exam (about 1:50 on Monday) Final course grades will be available through the FAU system, probably by Thursday, August 6

13. Exam Grades Exams will be available from the instructor for 1 year following the exam Final exam grades will be posted on Blackboard Course grades will not be available on Blackboard 13
