TNHS Graduation Requirements Earn a total of 225 credits Pass specific subject requirements  English: 40 credits (4 years)  History/Social Science: 30 credits (3 years)  Laboratory Science: 20 credits (2 years)  Fine Art or Language Other Than English: 10 credits (1 year)  Career Technical Education (CTE): 10 credits (1 year)  Physical Education: 20 credits (2 years)  Health: 5 credits (1 semester)  Electives: 60 credits

SAT vs. ACT ACT questions tend to be more straightforward SAT has a stronger emphasis on vocabulary ACT has a Science section while the SAT does not ACT tests more advanced math concepts ACT Writing Test is optional on exam day, but required by many schools SAT is broken up into more sections ACT is more of a “big picture” exam The Princeton Review (2015)
