4. Bell Work  Imagine your best friend or a person you greatly admire.  Write down three sentence illustrating qualities that you like or admire about this person (use specific character traits or examples of what they have said or done).  Be prepared to share your answers.

5. Discussion  What techniques did you use to describe this person?

6. Characterization  Direct Characterization  Indirect characterization - thoughts feelings and actions - interactions

7. Classwork:  Complete the Characterization part of the worksheet. This will be turned in for a grade! worksheet
