3 What is RefWorks?  It’s a web-based tool (free to UCSF residents, faculty & staff) that allows you to :  Create your personal database of bibliographic references  Import citations from UCSF databases including PubMed  Organize your citation records into electronic folders  Manage related research materials such as PDFs, notes, figures  Automatically create in-text citations  Format your papers & generate bibliographies in seconds
