What is Honors Chemistry? Honors Chemistry is an elective course which is a traditional book based chemistry curriculum designed to provide students with a solid foundation of the major principles of this discipline. In this course, students will learn about the major concepts of chemistry by building upon the basic knowledge they have acquired in previous courses

Overview of Grading 30% Formative (PROCESS) This may include but is not limited to: homework, class work, participation, quizzes, lab participation 70% SUMMATIVE (PRODUCT) This may include but is not limited to: quizzes, tests, essays, projects, rubric scored presentations, lab reports
