WARM UP--- Solve: Review Jiwon Chang earns $11.70 per hour plus time and a half for overtime. Last week he worked his regular 40 hours plus six overtime hours on the weekend. What is his total pay for the week? Overtime Rate: (11.70) = $17.55 ($11.70 X 40 hrs ) + ( $17.55 X 6 hr ) = $573.30 Journal: Transferable skills are common to a number of jobs and can be adapted to a particular employer’s needs.
