Sydney Opera House The Sydney Opera house is in Sydney, New South Wales. Before the Opera House in that spot was a tram shed. 233 designs were submitted for the Opera House Design Competition held in 1956. In January 1957 Jorn Ultzan won the competition and won five thousand pounds! It took 7 years to build the model of the opera house and 17 years to complete the actual building. They thought that the cost was going to come to $7 million but the final cost came to $102 million! The Sydney Opera house is in Sydney, New South Wales. Saltwater Crocodile The average saltwater crocodile is as long as 4-5 meters. Its the biggest reptile, and in some rare cases there are saltwater crocodiles that are as big as 7 metres. They weigh from 1000kg-2000kg. As their name implies they can live in saltwater but usually live in swamps, lagoons and rivers. They are carnivores and eat about everything they’re able to catch, which is a lot. They would also easily kill a human.

Sydney Harbour Bridge Sydney Harbour Bridge is located in Sydney, New South Wales. Locally it’s nickname is The Coat Hanger. It’s the world’s biggest steel bridge and it’s highest point is 134 meters above the harbour. The bridge was opened in 1932. You can climb on it!
