Jerry Uelsmann’s Background Born in Detroit, Michigan Received B.F.A. at Rochester Institute of Technology in 1957 Began teaching photography in at University of Florida in Gainsville in 1969 Became graduate research professor of art at U of F in 1974

Famous Works Alpha Tree –2002 Does not seek to create narratives, but rather allegorical surrealist imagery of the unfathomable.
