1 ICC’s Preferred Provider Program
An industry partnership providing access to extensive educational opportunities approved for ICC CEUs.

2 Goal/Purpose The Preferred Provider Program (PPP) focuses on training opportunities related to codes, standards and guidelines as well as building construction materials, products and methods. The ICC Preferred Provider Network (PPN) provides quality training courses approved for ICC CEUs.

3 Goal/Purpose Create an easily accessible network of extensive training opportunities from a variety of educational resources; Provide access to quality training on specialty topics and building products that are beyond the ICC core training programs; Provide increased quality and support for educational renewal requirements of the ICC Certification Program; Enhance the relationship between ICC and Educational Providers in support of building Safety and innovation in building products and construction practices; Expand opportunities for maintaining high level of professional achievement demonstrated through obtaining ICC certification.

Significant access opportunities to ICC contacts and subscription base Connect with more than 58,000 ICC members, 350 ICC Chapters and 40,000 ICC-certified individuals Offer ICC CEUs, which can be used toward ICC’s certification renewal program Be eligible for ICC’s Chapter Education Benefit training reimbursement Save with discounted prices on ICC publications used in training

5 Categories of Preferred Providers:
ICC Chapters Governmental units or agencies (municipalities, county, state and other jurisdictional units or agencies) Nonprofits (associations, public education institutions and similar nonprofit organizations) Educator- For Profit Educator-Individual Educator-General Industry (Product manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and others related to the industry)

6 Acceptable types of Preferred Provider courses (on-site, online or both):
Building construction Building products Codes and standards Administration, legal and management topics related to building construction codes and standards Building design related to architecture, engineering and similar professional disciplines

7 Annual Fees for Preferred Providers
Provider Category On-site Only Annual Fee Online Only Annual Fee On-site and Online Annual Fee ICC Chapters, all chapters obtaining and maintaining ICC Chapter eligibility $200 $320 Government and Nonprofit, municipalities, county, state and other jurisdictional unit or agencies; associations, public education institutions and similar nonprofit organizations $500 $800 For-Profit Educator, Individual, private, for- profit educator with one staff member dedicated to education-related activities and instruction is limited to 30 or fewer seminar days annually $450 N/A For-Profit Educator, General, private, for-profit individuals, companies and private education institutions whose number of staff members or number of instruction days exceeds the limits in the individual category $1,000 $1,600 Industry, building product manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and others related to the industry $1,500 $2,400

Review a comprehensive list of available on-site and online educational programs on expanded topics Earn guaranteed ICC CEUs toward renewal of ICC certifications through Preferred Providers or ICC training Learn about other products and services of Preferred Providers

9 The Process Interested party files application on the PPP Website
ICC Education team reviews and approves or denies Approved provider adds course(s) to PPP Website ICC Education team reviews the course(s) and approves or denies Approved provider adds date, location and contact hours to course(s) PPP Website automatically populates the course(s) on the live schedule Education seekers visit the PPP Website live schedule and choose course(s) of interest Education seekers click on the registration button to be connected with the PP and register for the desired training
