6. After the Battle of Chaeronea in 338 B.C., King Phillip of Macedonia ruled all of Greece. Alexander the Great, King Phillip’s son, conquered an empire that stretched to Africa in the south and India in the east. After Alexander’s death, his empire split into several kingdoms.
