6 “What are the roots that clutch, what branches grow Out of this stony rubbish? Son of man, You cannot say, or guess, for you know only A heap of broken images, where the sun beats, And the dead tree gives no shelter, the cricket no relief, And the dry stone no sound of water…” T.S. 30 Design an “assemblage” within an enclosed space, a valise or suitcase you can carry into the year 2020: your 20/20 vision for the future. Use/reuse found objects for this assemblage. You may think of this as a “ Kit. ”What things will be needed and how shall they be organized?

35 WENDELL BERRY “The complexity of our present trouble suggests as never before that we need to change our present concept of education. …Its proper use is to enable citizens to live lives that are economically, politically, socially, and culturally responsible. This cannot be done by gathering or "accessing" what we now call "information" - which is to say facts without context and therefore without priority. A proper education enables young people to put their lives in order, which means knowing what things are more important than other things; it means putting first things first.” ― Wendell BerryWendell Berry
