3. Why I chose this jacket Its cool! Its furry. Its warm. Its my favorite color besides pink. Its got a hood.

4. Where Cotton and Polyester are Made. Cotton comes from a cotton farm. Polyesterfiber Cotton farm Polyester is a synthetic fibre made from coal, air, water, and petroleum. It was developed in a 20th-century laboratory. Polyester is used in the manufacture of many products, including clothing, home furnishings, industrial fabrics, computer and recording tapes, and electrical insulation.

Polyester How the material is constructed Polyester Polyester is made by reacting ter-e-ph-tha-lic acid, a petroleum derivative, with eth-y-lene glycol, another petroleum derivative (commonly known as antifreeze). When the two chemicals are combined at a very high temperature, they form a new chemical known as a polymer/polyester. As the above mixture cools it turns into a thick syrup. The syrup has to be forced through little holes in a machine called a spinneret as soon as the syrup has contact with air it hardens and becomes long, giant threads.

6. Cotton How the material is constructed Cotton The process of making cotton fabric has become a machine-made one, especially in developed countries. After harvesting, raw cotton goes through a cleaning and refining process, then it is spun into thread and woven into cotton fabric on machines called looms.
