FRQs 3 FRQs in 75 minutes Goal is to get 60% of the points available Pen or pencil (pen is preferred) SO HOW DO YOU DO IT???
6
FRQ Rules You do not need an intro or a thesis; most FRQ responses will be short answer. Straight forward answer!!!! Show what you know (define terms, people, give examples, etc).
7
FRQ Rules Continued… Do NOT leave anything blank! – Unlike multiple choice, you do not lose points for guessing. Do NOT use bullet points! Do NOT doodle on your response sheet! At the end, double-check your response for any silly errors and to make sure you answered all parts of the question.
8
What your FRQ should look like… Written in any order – just make sure you number them accurately. Start on a new page when starting a new essay. Typically, essays will use about 2-3 pages each. Spelling is not an issue as long as the reader knows what you were trying to write.
