Complete as a group: You have < 10 mins. Translate the following expressions using the “hot and cold cubes” model. State in words the overall temperature change. 1.Three cold cubes were added, and then five hot cubes were added 2. Four bunches of three hot cubes were removed. 3. Ten hot cubes were added, and then two cold cubes were removed 4. Six bunches of eight cold cubes were removed.

Four Fours and Operations Problem Use four 4s and the symbols +, ×, -, ÷, and ( ) to give expressions for the whole numbers from 0 through 9: for example 5=(4×4+4)÷4.
