Background -France, July 1918 -Last major German offensive -Goal: distract the French so Germany can attack Flanders later

Thesis The Allied powers were able to turn what was initially a German offensive battle into a successful attack on the Germans, turning the tide of the war in favor of the Allies and foreshadowing the Allies’ eventual victory.
